Banking - a listing of banks in the area can be found under Area Information > Central Drakensberg /
Northern Drakensberg / Bush & Battlefields > Banking.
Foreign exchange and travellers cheques facilities are available in the larger towns of Estcourt and
Ladysmith.
Credit cards are accepted at most departmental stores, shops, hotels and restaurants with Visa and
Mastercard widely accepted. American Express and Diners Club are also accepted in some establishments.
Please note that smaller establishments such as bed & breakfasts, private self-catering cottages and arts & crafts stalls seldom accept credit cards so ask in advance.
