Besides the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park itself, a world heritage site proclaimed in 2000, the following are a few of our specific treasures not to be missed when visiting the area:

The Thukela Falls which measure 614 meters at its single longest drop.The total fall from the escarpment edge to the gorge is 948 meters. It is the 4th highest waterfall in the world after Angel Falls in Venezuela 979m, Yosemite in the USA 739m, and Mardalsfossen in Norway 655m.
